The gas leak has been fixed, and school will resume as normal tomorrow, January 30th, 2024. We can't wait to see everyone!

Middle School Basketball Game Rescheduled

As a precautionary measure and for the safety of our students, Yantis ISD will begin dismissing students today at 8:45 AM due to an ongoing gas smell investigation. The gas has been shut off . Car riders can be picked up beginning now, and buses will run at 8:45 AM. High school car riders will be picked up in the elementary car line. Elementary car riders will be picked up just like normal. Bus riders will be held safely in the cafeteria until busses run. Updates regarding tonights JH basketball games and school tomorrow will follow as needed .

Game Day Info!

Mike Hale with Sulphur Springs Whataburger has teamed up with Yantis ISD in an effort to recognize the students who have exhibit the admirable traits of work ethic, leadership, academic performance, grit and perseverance throughout the year. We are so excited for this opportunity to recognize the amazing students here.

Tonight varsity girls will play @ 4:30 with varsity boys following. The gym is without heat and cannot be repaired until tomorrow. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause however the high school games will go on as scheduled. Tomorrow’s middle school games have been cancelled.
